Process audit

Most automation projects fail before they start. They put software on top of a process nobody questioned. The audit questions the process first. In two weeks you know what to delete, what to keep and what to build.

What you get

  • A map of every step in the workflows you choose, with who does it and why
  • The delete list: steps that exist only because a human used to do them
  • A build plan with tools, order of work, risks and a fixed quote
  • A one-page summary you can share with partners or the board
  • A 60-minute readout call

For whom

  • CPA and accounting firm partners who bill hours on chasing and re-keying
  • CFOs and controllers whose month-end runs on one person's memory
  • Owners who want AI in the business without hiring an engineer

Time

2 weeks

Professional fee

Fixed

Rs. 1,50,000

fixed fee, credited against a Build. Plus GST at 18 percent on the fee.

What happens in the two weeks

  • Week one: we sit with the people who do the work and record every step, every handoff and every reminder.
  • Week one: we map the steps. Each one gets a reason. Steps with no reason go on the delete list.
  • Week two: we design the smallest build that removes the chasing. Tools, order of work, risks.
  • Week two: readout. You get the map, the delete list, the plan and a fixed quote for the build.

What you decide at the end

Three options. Build it with us at the quoted price, and the audit fee is credited. Build it with your own people using the plan. Or do nothing, and keep the map.

Why a Chartered Accountant does this

An engineer sees a workflow. An accountant sees the control behind it, the audit trail it needs and the deadline it feeds. The people who run these audits have closed books and write the code. The plan is one that both a partner and a developer can read.

Questions

Which workflows can the audit cover?

Two or three at most. Collections and reminders, month-end close, bank and ledger reconciliations, client document chasing, management reporting, payroll inputs. Pick the ones that cost the most hours.

Do I need to give you system access?

Read access to the systems in scope, scoped to the audit period, and it is revoked at the end. Nothing is copied out of your accounts.

Is the fee credited if we build together?

Yes. The full audit fee is credited against the first Build.

Can this be done remotely?

Yes. Audits are remote, with recorded working sessions.

Twenty minutes. No deck.

Tell us which process hurts most. We will tell you what gets deleted, what gets built and what it costs. Then you decide.
